We always support the community where we do business.
We are very proud of the MANY partnerships we have with local charities and organizations to help our community thrive.
From fundraisers in partnerships with Lakeridge Health, Parkwood Estate Foundation, Durham Region Crime Stoppers, Durham Community Living Centre and United Way and much more, to local efforts around the Durham Region Police Services Food and Toy Drive, and sponsoring community sports teams/cultural art programs, we strive to make a difference!
One example that shows our commitment to this community is our extensive involvement with the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre. Over the past 20+ years at our annual charity golf tournament event, we have raised over $ 1 Million for such a worthwhile cause. Mr. Gus Brown was also Chair for the automotive sector in the Durham Region in its successful quest to raise a further $1.1 Million in the Heroes of Hope campaign for the R. S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
