2023 GMC Acadia
Slotting into the mid-size crossover SUV segment, the GMC Acadia is approaching the end of its current model generation as the SUV is due for a redesign which is likely coming in 2024. For now, the 2023 Acadia will only see minor changes with updated exterior colours. Volcanic Red tintcoat, Ultra Blue metallic and Sterling Metallic round out the three new available colours.
2023 GMC Canyon
This mid-sized pickup is all-new for 2023, as the GMC Canyon comes into the model year with a host of new updates. 2023 sees the Canyon significantly upgrade its interior as well as debut a new off-road centric trim level, the AT4X. Looking for a pickup that can take on any off-road challenge? The AT4X comes standard with a 2.7 L turbocharged engine with 310 horses and 430 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, with 10.7 inches of ground clearance and 33-inch mud terrain tires, the Canyon can traverse the toughest terrain. Those looking to reserve their 2023 Canyon early can explore the possibility of the limited Edition 1 package featuring a plethora of luxurious technologies for your truck, extra cameras, an upgraded bumper, light bars, a winch, and 17-inch beadlock capable wheels.
2023 GMC Hummer EV Pickup
Coming into 2023, the GMC Hummer EV remains an exclusive inclusion for GMC’s model lineup. Innovative, futuristic, luxurious, powerful, and of course, all-electric, this pickup is true automotive artistry. Edition 1 units were sold back in 2021 and in the coming model year, GMC will begin to work on more accessible trim levels. The EV3X, EV2X, and base EV2 will see production for the 2023 model year, and on our side of the border, as of now, the Hummer EV pickup will only be available in Edition 1 and the top trim level EV3X. Choose between hefty electric powertrains, with the EV3X sporting a three-motor setup delivering 800 horsepower, or the staggering 1,000-horsepower on the Edition 1. Two or three battery sizes are set to be available. An SUV variant of the Hummer EV is also on the horizon, as this model is set to see production in late 2023 as a 2024 model.
2023 GMC Sierra 1500
The perennially consistent GMC Sierra is receiving a new turbo-diesel 3.0L inline-six engine, producing 305 horses and 495 lb-ft of torque. A new off-road specializing luxury trim level is also being added in the form of the new AT4X AEV Edition. This trim level will receive additional skid plates, an updated front bumper, unique badging, details, and gorgeously placed high-quality materials. 2023 also marks the end for Sierra’s Limited models.
2023 GMC Sierra EV
A compelling entry into GMC’s electric division is set to join the remarkably crafted Hummer EV Pickup/SUV. An EV variant of GMC’s bestselling Sierra pickup is set to debut for the 2024 model year, and every piece of new information we’ve received so far in 2023 excites enthusiasts even further. Set to be available in early 2024 in the U.S., the debuting trim is called Denali Edition 1 and is meant to be powerful, unique, luxurious, and limited in production. A next-generation Ultium platform powertrain provides 754 horses and 785 lb-ft of torque, while the full charge range is estimated to be 640 km.
2023 GMC Sierra HD
No significant updates are coming for the Sierra 2500 and 3500 models for 2023, instead, both models will receive mid-cycle revamps. This means we will get an early introduction to 2024 Sierra HD models and they will be all-new. Highlighted expected upgrades to the 2024 Sierra HD models will be increased power, torque and towing capacity, a slight exterior refresh, and new available luxurious materials for the interior courtesy of an all-new Denali Ultimate trim level.
2023 GMC Terrain
The capable, yet economical GMC Terrain isn’t changing its formula too much for the upcoming model year. Drivers can expect a powertrain upgrade as the 1.5 L turbocharged engine now provides 175 horsepower. Volcanic Red tintcoat and Desert Sand Metallic are two new eye-catching colours added to the options available for the Terrain. The last notable change is a redesigned 19-inch wheel for the Terrain’s Elevation package. This compact SUV already received a mid-cycle refresh in 2022, so only a few updates are needed.
2023 GMC Yukon
This full-size SUV is delivering in a big way for the 2023 model year, as the GMC Yukon receives a few available luxury upgrades. For 2023, a new ultra-luxurious trim level is available as the Denali Ultimate package features Alpine Umber leather upholstery, open-pore wood trim, 16-way power adjustable massage front seats, a premium 18-speaker Bose audio experience, and so much more.
